Lorin Wilkerson, a lifelong Oregonian, is a musician, writer and field naturalist based in Portland Oregon. He holds a degree in Russian Language and Literature from Portland State University, and has performed with the Portland Symphonic Choir, (Portland) Bach Cantata Choir, and Classical Revolution PDX. He writes for Oregon ArtsWatch, and among other outlets has also written for Hollywood Star, Willamette Week, and Northwest Reverb. An avid birder, he is on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Birding Association, and is the Field Notes editor of Oregon Birds, the journal of that organization.
