Scandinavian Music In Minnesota

Anders Hillborg wrote his MAX Concerto in 2023 for pianist Emanuel Ex. As part of an all-Scandinavian program Nov. 5-7, Jon Kimura Parker will play the work with the Minnesota Orchestra. Thomas Søndergård also leads the orchestra in Grieg’s Norwegian Dances and the Second Symphony of Jean Sibelius.
