Pittsburgh Premieres Bates Work

A new work by Mason Bates will be given its world premiere by the Pittsburgh Symphony on Nov. 27-29. Music director Manfred Honeck will also conduct Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 (with Alexander Malofeev) and Haydn’s Symphony No. 60, along with some Viennese waltzes.
