String Quartet Premieres at Ravinia

On July 20, the Ravinia Festival will present the world premiere of a string quartet by Joel Thompson, winner of the Sphinx Medal of Excellence and first-ever full-time composer-in-residence at Houston Grand Opera. This concert will be performed by fellows from the Steans Institute Piano & Strings Program.
