Ottawa Composer To Be Honored At Festival

On July 20, Ottawa Chamberfest will celebrate the 60th birthday of Ottawa-based composer Kelly-Marie Murphy. The program showcases a range of ensemble combinations, including string quartet, piano four-hands, and viola/piano duo. The many works on offer include the gorgeous and intimate Ad Lucem for viola and piano to the driving rhythms of Dr. Blue’s Incredible Bone-Shaking Drill Engine for solo percussion.
