Toronto: ‘Nightingale Project’ Recalls Stradivarius’ Owner

Violinist Anna Štube and pianist Philip Chiu will be joined by author Thomas Wolf on July 22 at Toronto Summer Music to present The Nightingale Project. Accompanied by music and the projection of over 100 historical photographs, Wolf narrates the life of Lea Luboshutz, the first internationally known female violinist, her incomparable Stradivarius violin (the “Nightingale”), and her multi-generational musical family.
