Houston: Chamber Work As Memorial

On Oct. 20, Chamber Music Houston presents a rarity, Louis Vierne’s Piano Quintet in C minor. In writing this memorial to his son who fell in World War II, Vierne uses his piano quintet to convey deep mourning and powerful defiance. The program will be performed by Quartuor Modigliani plus pianist Fabio Bidini.
