Austin Opera Celebrates Día de los Muertos

Austin Opera has commissioned its first opera: Ofrenda, composed by Jorge Sosa with a libretto by John de los Santos, is “a celebration of family, cultural memory, and Día de los Muertos traditions.” Kristin Bilodeau and Mitch Jones star, with Timothy Myers on the podium. (Oct. 1-4)
