Boston: Machover Ponders A.I.

There are two new works on the Oct. 22-24 Boston Symphony program: The world premiere of Tod Machover’s already and not yet (which incorporates a live AI system to emphasize the individuality of each BSO musician) and the U.S. premiere of Alex Nante’s Ein feste Burg. Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Fifth Symphony, Reformation, bookend this program conducted by Kent Nagano.
