Dudamel Opens His NY Phil Director Designate Season

Gustavo Dudamel opens his season as music and artistic director-designate of the New York Philharmonic Sept. 11-16 with a world premiere by Kanaka Maoli composer Leilehua Lanzilotti. Charles Ives’ Symphony No. 2 and Yunchan Lim as soloist in Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3 round out the program.
