Cincy Celebrates Female Composers

“Extraordinary Women” is the them of the Cincinnati Symphony’s March 5-6 program. With music director Cristian Măcelaru on the podium, the program includes overtures by Fanny Mendelssohn and Emilie Mayer, Clara Schumann’s piano concerto played by Alexandra Dariescu, and a new Concerto for Orchestra by Errollyn Wallen.
