Ukrainian Composer Featured in Philadelphia

Marin Alsop conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra in the city’s premiere of a work by Ukrainian composer Iryna Aleksiychuk on March 20-22. Rachmaninoff’s blazing Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini will be performed by pianist Haochen Zhang, and Schumann’s Second Symphony ends the program.
