Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music

July 27 opens the Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music with a program called Nordic Boomers. Esa-Pekka Salonen conducts the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra in his own Cello Concerto (featuring Senja Rummukainen) plus works by fellow Scandinavians Hans Abrahamsen and Anders Hillborg.
