Schubert Recital Recreated At Ravinia

On Aug. 16, the Ravinia Festivals Steans Institute fellows will bring to life one of the most transformative moments in Franz Schubert’s career, an 1825 tour program (the first-ever Lieder recital series) that the composer took through upper Austria. Pianist and art song scholar Graham Johnson hosts this innovative historical reconstruction.
