Philadelphia Premieres John Adams Work

The Philadelphia Orchestra will perform the world premiere of a new work by John Adams on Oct. 3-5, a commission by the orchestra. Principal guest conductor Marin Alsop leads the program, which also includes Bartók’s Third Piano Concerto, played by Yunchan Lim, and Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
