NYPhil’s Project 19 Presents New Work by Montgomery

As part of the New York Philharmonic’s Project 19 commissioning effort to support women composers, the orchestra will give the world premiere of a new work by Jessie Montgomery on April 9-11. Jakub Hrůša conducts this program, which features Patricia Kopatchinskaja playing Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto and concludes with Brahms’ First Symphony.
