Mackey Concerto Premieres In Seattle

On March 11-13, the Seattle Symphony will give the world premiere of Steven Mackey’s new Concerto for Orchestra. The program, conducted by Xian Zhang, also includes two descriptive orchestral works: Smetana’s The Moldau and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.
