Indianapolis: New Joan Tower Saxophone Concerto

The Indianapolis Symphony co-commissioned a new saxophone concerto from Joan Tower, which she titled Love Returns. It will have its Indy premiere on May 29-30 with soloist Steven Banks. Robert Spano also conducts Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite and Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 5.
