Grant Park Program Contemplates Death

Mozart’s Requiem will be paired with another work inspired by death—John Corigliano’s Symphony No. 1, written during the height of the AIDS crisis—at the Grant Park Festival Aug. 7. Giancarlo Guerrero conducts the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus. Solists include soprano Janai Brugger and Bass Kelly Markgraf.
