‘Ears Of The Book’ Pipa Concerto In Philadelphia

Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Du Yun’s Ears of the Book is a virtuosic concerto for award-winning pipa master Wu Man. She will play the work with the Philadelphia Orchestra, under Elim Chan, on Jan. 22-24. Musorgsky’s Pictures from an Exhibition is also on the program.
