Cultures Combine In San Diego

On Jan. 23-24 the San Diego Symphony, conducted by Aziz Shokhakimov, will play a program of paired cultures. Two works are by Czechs: Smetana and Dvořák; two are by Hispanics: Ginastera (Argentinian) and Albéniz (Spanish). Simon Trpčeski is the piano soloist for the latter’s Rapsodia española.
