‘Red Dirt’ Premieres In Stanford

On Nov. 7, the Stanford Philharmonia will premiere Red Dirt | Silver Rain, by Melody Eötvös, conducted by Paul Phillips. The work is a commission from the League of American Orchestras as part of the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation Orchestral Commissions Program, which supports six women and nonbinary composers each year.
