Chicago: Beethoven Meets American Iconography

The final event of 2026 Grant Park Festival takes place Aug. 14-15. Before performing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Giancarlo Guerrero will conduct two works inspired by important American images: Julia Wolfe’s Liberty Bell and Michael Daugherty’s Mount Rushmore.
