Cann Plays Price And Gershwin In NJ

In an all-American program on Nov. 6-9, the New Jersey Symphony will give the Northeast premiere of Carlos Simon’s symphonic suite Zodiac. Florence Price specialist Michelle Cann will be the piano soloist for Price’s single-movement Piano Concerto as well as Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Tito Muñoz conducts this program, which ends with Copland’s Suite from Billy the Kid.
