Although Kevin Puts’ 2011 version may be better known, there is also a 2007 operatic take on the World War I Christmas truce of 1914, when British and German soldiers put down their arms to sing and celebrate the season for one night. Atlanta Opera will perform Peter Rothstein’s All Is Calm Dec. 2-13.
