‘Yellow Wallpaper’ Opera Premieres At Carnegie

Lyric Opera of Orange County travels to New York’s Carnegie Hall to present the world premiere of The Yellow Wallpaper, a chamber opera by composer Brooke deRosa and librettist Diana Farrell. The opera, based on the haunting 1876 novella by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, is scored for three voices and six instruments. (Jan. 31)
