Virginia Symphony Plays For Arts Festival

April 16-17, the Virginia Symphony will present a program called Illustrating Sound. Unifying visuals with sound, “beautifully nuanced” artist Alex Sopp creates a stop-motion animated film to accompany Janáček’s Sinfonietta, as a co-presentation with Virginia Arts Festival. Eric Jacobsen also conducts Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe Suite No. 2.
