Chicago: Berlin’s Bruckner Birthday
On its North American tour, the Berlin Philharmonic will stop at Chicago’s Symphony Center on Nov. 26 to mark the 200th anniversary of Anton Bruckner’s birth. Hamada Conducts NY Phil in Fujikura Premiere
The New York Philharmonic, conducted by Kazuki Hamada (making his debut with the orchestra), will give the U.S. premiere of Dai Fujikura’s Entwine Nov. 27-Dec. 1. Violinist Yang Premieres Work in Dallas
The Dallas Symphony will present the U.S. premiere of Kris Bowers’ For a Younger Self, featuring violinist Charles Yang.
