Zhang Premieres Orchestral Work In NJ

For its 2023-24 season finale on June 7-9, the New Jersey Symphony and music director Xian Zhang will present the world premiere of a new work by Daniel Bernard Roumain. Daniil Trifonov will be the soloist for Gershwin’s Concerto in F in a program that also includes Robert Russell Bennett’s Porgy and Bess: A Symphonic Picture, an arrangement of music from Gershwin’s opera.
