Xian Zhang Makes Boston Symphony Hall Debut

Xian Zhang is the first of three women conductors making their podium debuts with the Boston Symphony in the 2024-25 season. The Oct. 17-19 program includes Landscape Impression by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Chen Yi, Schumann’s Piano Concerto—featuring Jonathan Biss—and Mozart’s elegant Symphony No. 39.
