The Atlanta Symphony is paying tribute to one of the greats in their 2024-25 season with a Beethoven Project featuring all of his symphonies. On March 6-9, music director Nathalie Stutzmann opens with Symphony No. 4, which Hector Berlioz admired for its contrasts between a “lively, alert, and joyful” spirit and a “heavenly gentleness.” After intermission, she takes on the exuberant Seventh.
