‘Salome’ for San Diego’s 60th

As part of its 60th anniversary season, San Diego Opera will perform Strauss’ Salome, based on the Oscar Wilde play. Marcy Stonikas and Kirsten Chambers share the title role, with Dennis Petersen as Herod and Kyle Albertson as Jochanaan. Yves Abel leads the San Diego Symphony. (March 21-23)
