Poets Join Portland Chamber Orchestra’s ‘Cultural Kaleidoscope’

Conducted by interim music director Deanna Them, the Portland Chamber Orchestra will performa a program called “Cultural Kaleidoscope” April 25. Local poets and wordsmiths share their reflections on music that was written to highlight our universal connection. The contemporary music list includes works by Jessie Montgomery, Valery Coleman, Jerod Tate, and Osvoldo Golijov.
