Pintscher Conducts Own Premiere in NYC

The U.S. premiere of Matthias Pintscher’s Neharot, a tribute to those who suffered in the pandemic, will occur on Oct. 10-13, with Pintscher himself conducting the New York Philharmonic. Gil Shaham will play Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, and the program concludes with Schoenberg’s Pelleas and Melisande.
