Phoenix Celebrates ‘Rhapsody’ Centenary

The Phoenix Symphony will celebrate with 100th anniversary of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue on Nov. 22-24. Pianist Conor Hanick is the soloist, and Christian Reif will conduct. Also on the program are Honegger’s Pacific 231, Sibelius’ Symphony No. 7, and Respighi’s Pines of Rome. There will also be a “Mystery Piece,” something that Phoenix offers on every concert in the 2024-25 season.
