NY Phil Members Choose Opening Program

A new work by Augusta Read Thomas will receive its world premiere Sept. 19-21 when KenDavid Masur conducts a program curated by the musicians of New York Philharmonic. The eclectic lineup also includes Mahler’s arrangement of some movements by Bach, Duke Ellington’s Harlem, and Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphoses.
