Sunday, February 28 – Verdi’s Il Trovatore

The Metropolitan Opera’s 24-hour stream-on-demand lasts through end of day March 1. David McVicar’s production features baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Count DiLuna and also stars Anna Netrebko, Dolora Zajick and Yonghoon Lee in a 2015 performance. Marco Armiliato conducts. The stream is part of the Met’s extensive Hvorostovsky tribute to the revered baritone who died in 2017. A different nightly opera stream is offered every 24 hours at https://www.metopera.org/.  Photo by Marty Sohl, courtesy MetOpera.
