Kanneh-Mason Plays Shostakovich for NWS Debut

Stéphane Denève welcomes cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason in his New World Symphony debut, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1. The April 19 program begins with John Williams’ Suite from The Book Thief and concludes with Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique.
