Focus On Louise Farrenc

The 19th-century Parisian composer Louise Farrenc has finally been gaining the reputation she deserves. On Nov. 19, in  a program called Quintet Odyssey, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will play her Quintet in A minor, Op. 30. Alongside works by Dvořák, the CMS has programmed John Corigliano’s Soliloquy for clarinet and string quartet.
