Concerto Premiere Marks Conductor’s 10th Year in Alabama

To celebrate his 10th anniversary as music director of the Alabama Symphony, Carlos Izcaray will lead a program that opens with two works by Dukas (including the beloved The Sorcerer’s Apprentice). Conor Hanick will give the world premiere of Izcaray’s own Piano Concerto, and the Oct. 25-26 program closes with Berlioz’s wild Symphonie fantastique.
