Civil War Song Cycle at Opera Maine

On June 28-30, Opera Maine’s Studio Artist Program will present composer Ricky Ian Gordon and librettist Mark Campbell’s Rappahannock County. This theatrical song cycle captures key emotional, sociological, and historical moments in the Civil War, with a text that draws on diaries, letters, and other accounts of actual events.
