Austin: Political Opera Coincides With Election

It’s surely no accident that Austin Opera programmed Kevin Puts and Mark Campbell’s opera The Manchurian Candidate, based on the political thriller, for the weekend after the U.S. presidential election. The opera debuted in Austin in 2016. (Runs Nov. 9-10)
