Anne Frank Monodrama in Birmingham

With music and libretto by Grigory Frid, the monodrama The Diary of Anne Frank (for soprano and chamber orchestra) premiered in 1972. It will be presented by Opera Birmingham, with soprano Kathleen Buccleugh singing 21 excerpts from Frank’s journal. Lester Seigel conducts. (April 5-6)
