A New Take on Purcell’s ‘Fairy Queen’

Renowned for his fusion of classical influence and contemporary innovation, French-Algerian director and choreographer Mourad Merzouki has staged a new production of Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, with William Christie’s Les Arts Florissants. The July 20 performance at Caramoor features soloists from Les Jardins des Voix.
