Two Composers in Rare Recital at Aspen

Visitors to the Aspen Music Festival will have a rare chance to hear two important contemporary composers play their own and other artists’ music. Pekka Kuusisto (violin) and Nico Muhly (piano) will team up for a recital on July 26, featuring Muhly’s Drones & Violin and Kuusisto’s Barcarole (co-written with Iro Haarla), along with works by Bach, Tippet, Ellen Reid, and more.
