St. Louis Chorus Turns 50

The St. Louis Symphony Chorus opens its 50th anniversary season Nov. 14-15 with two works focused on Psalm settings: Mendelssohn’s Psalm 114 (When Israel out of Egypt Came) and Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms. Conducted by David Afkham, the program ends with Shostakovich’s Eighth Symphony.
