Seattle: New Percussion/Violin Concerto

On April 9-11, the Seattle Symphony under Peter Oundjian will give the West Coast premiere of a Double Concerto from American composer Christopher Theofanidis for percussionist Svet Stoyanov and concertmaster Noah Geller. Joan Tower’s exciting Concerto for Orchestra Suite opens the program, which closes with Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances.
