Pittsburgh Closes With ‘New’ Korngold Suite

A new arrangement by Manfred Honeck and Tomáš Ille of a suite from Korngold’s Die tote Stadt will have its world premiere played by the Pittsburgh Symphony June 11-13. Maria Duenas plays Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and Honeck conducts Sibelius’ Sympony No. 2.
