New-Opera Workshop In Saratoga

Opera Saratoga will present a piano / electronics workshop of a new work called Drift by composer Alyssa Weinberg and librettist J. Mae Barizo. This piece deals with “motherlands, migration, and memory set amidst the pressing crises of our time.” Christopher Allen conducts and Caili Quan directs. (June 21-26)
