Houston: World Premiere And Two Great Warhorses

A new work by Ľubica Čekovská’s will have its world premiere as opener for the Houston Symphony’s Nov. 28-30 program. Behzod Abduraimov is soloist for Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto, and the program closes with Strauss’ tone poem, Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life). Juraj Valčuha conducts.
